Our team
Cant i Gymru is a collective of Gospel friends from around Wales and the world, believing God for a new wave of church planting over the next 10 years.
We are a diverse bunch, living and ministering in the Welsh and English languages. We represent many networks and denominations, but share a common love for Jesus, a strong desire to see Wales turn back to Him, and a courageous commitment to planting new churches.
Our Leadership Team
BEN AND LOIS FRANKS
Ben and Lois planted Hope Church Rhondda in 2013. The church meets in a converted shop on Tonypandy’s high street and is hoping to launch 2 new congregations in the next 12 months. Alongside leading the team at Hope, Ben chairs the board of his family’s business while Lois runs a marketing company in Pontypridd. She also is a part of the National Committee for Tearfund Wales and involved with the Llanw Welsh Language Christian Festival.
STEFF AND GWENNO MORRIS
Steff and Gwenno planted Ffynnon, a welsh-speaking church plant in Llandysul, Ceredigion in 2018. Steff and Gwenno also spearhead the Derwen Project for Waleswide – a pioneering leadership development program for young leaders from around Wales seeking to inspire and equip emerging leaders for pioneering ministry.

OWEN AND CHARLOTTE COTTOM
Owen and Charlotte lead Grace Church Cardiff, which they planted in the south of the city in 2018. Grace Church has seen remarkable favour from God and they are gearing up to plant a 2nd congregation this year. Owen is in the process of completing his MTh in Biblical Studies at Union School of Theology and also sits on the UCCF Wales Advisory Council.
Oversight and support
The Cant i Gymru leadership team have asked the trustees of Waleswide Cymrugyfan to support this new initiative as it emerges over the next two years. As part of that support, the trustees of Waleswide will provide accountability and oversight to us as a team as well as providing an administrative/charitable umbrella through which we can work. We very much feel that we have been handed a baton from them and we feel privileged to have them in our corner, cheering us on, and helping us out.
